I'm somewhat inclined to dislike the implications of this Gift; it gives a 2-point discount for introducing a vulnerability that is unlikely to be exploited against a player character, ever. Knowing that they can rely on their Siblings to rescue them from permanent imprisonment, why would any player ever buy the full Immortal instead of this?
If they become trapped, that could likely lead to bad things happening while their Siblings get to them in order to free them in the first place.
Say you have a fight against an Excrucian (a shard hopefully), who traps you.
Now, with full Immortality, you will get out within moments, really.
With this, your side has to waste time and energy to free you, which would allow your enemies to better attack your group.
Though I suppose I could give the Duchess Sacrosanct instead, and use the CP to give her Invisibility or something, if it would be important.
You wouldn't get out instantly. Immortals can still be trapped for thousands of years. They just can't be trapped permanently because they effectively have infinite amounts of energy to use to escape.
I think the effect you want might be better served by taking Immortal and giving yourself a "Vulnerable to binding" Limit.
All I wanted is actually to have her be impossible to outright kill, while you can still permanently trap her…
Guess I'll remove the Spirit point and give her Invisibility or something with the leftover CP.
Well, I'm not your HG at the moment, so I don't have veto power (the only thing I have veto power over is bad spelling), so it would be up to him. I just don't want to popularize a Gift that almost everybody would prefer to take instead of Immortal as presented in the book.
