He's as adept at twisting words as any contract attorney I've ever met. But I suppose it's a necessary skill for him. I prefer to avoid the word 'wish' around him in general as a matter of courtesy.

She's … creepy for lack of a better term. I'm not sure what to make of her, but I try to stay on her good side until I have a reason to do otherwise. I still have to remind myself when we talk that she comes from a perspective almost alien to me and than I have to take time to make sure we understand each other.

A telepath is supposed to be a lawyer's worst nightmare, but I actually enjoy Cilo's company. Was I that bad as a teenager? I assume I must have been. Then again, I wasn't stuck in the middle of puberty forever. I worry that his drive for new and interesting things will get him in trouble some day.

I must be cautious in dealing with the lady; it is hard to shake hands when you fear your wallet may go missing. She doesn't seem to stand for anything but herself and that makes her hard to predict. Something has been bothering her lately, but I don't know what.
