Alex is a rather ordinary-looking young man with a Latino heritage, who played a lot of video games before Ma'at wins! Nobility! and still tries to keep up with all the great games being released as a Power. He tends to wear t-shirts related to video games, and has been spotted bearing the mark of the Assassin's Order (Assassin's Creed), images of Cirno and Remelia Scarlet (Touhou), and a map of Kanto (Pokémon Red/Blue) at various times in his new life as a demigod of interactive media and literature.

Alexander Chase, small time game developer with a few minor successes to his name, and now the CEO of a fictional game studio made real. With no need to worry about money or travel expenses, AC goes to trade conventions and other things related to his Estates on a regular basis. He's not really satisfied with it, realizing he has an Admin account for the entire Gaming industry.

Life Path

The still young Alexander Chase learned some martial arts and programming skills. After ennoblement, he boosted these abilities in an attempt to deal with something much more dangerous than Video Games… Politics.

After Lord Entropy's killed Longshot Feeney, it was clear trying to get rid of the Darkest Lord's Pawn-President of the United States wouldn't be enough. After founding a secret hacker collective using recruits gathered by the "Cicada 3301" campaign, Alexander has made it his mission to change the status quo to something more stable without triggering a war.

Bonus Story

9:07 AM PST
"So you're saying that this job offer of a lifetime…" Alexander Chase slowly realized, feeling the estates of Writing and Video Games in full, "…is to be a demigod of the very things I value most about myself?"

"Exactly." Ma'at II told him. "Before you go doing anything foolish, I'll have you know that Richard McGouff abused his time with this power to cheat at his career! I made sure it didn't end well."

"What do mean cheat?" Alexander asked.

"I mean that you can write using your basic connection to writing and video games to do better at your job, but miracles that are more than that are off-limits!" Ma'at II warned him. "Are we clear?"

"Hold on. You're saying that I'm a better writer just by being…" Alexander realized. "You know this is like being in cheat mode, right? You can keep the job."

"I'm afraid that's not possible without dying. I should have guessed a mortal with integrity would regret this." she noticed. "Chester Marlin was the same as you, really, a fan of the horrors that can hide in pages as much as the bright and sunny side of magic. I miss him, I admit, if nothing else he was… honest."

"Well then, I'm an idiot." he sighed. "I hope I'm not less grateful than a writer as grumpy as C.B. Marlin…"

"Less grateful? He threw a glorified tantrum over not being able to earn his place." Ma'at II mused. "I'm actually quite proud of you, Alexander. You may think you can't do this job, but…"

3:27 PM PST
"I thought you said this line was secure!" Alexander asked Kavya Rao. "There's 22 nimble- 23 nimblejacks and an Ogre after my skin, I don't need Dr. Buzzkill interrupting us!"

"Mr. Chase, you don't seem to realize how far my power over numbers extends…" Dr. Wells said, still not purged from the now three-way call. "…or are very naive about those old horrors you think are fictional. These numbers are for your protection, Mr. Chase, why else would I want you to hand the anomaly over willingly?"

"Did he just say- Alex, whatever you do, do not drop the Jade Dragon!" Kavya Rao warned him. "It could be the last thing you do! Head north, I'm setting up a payphone as a temporary entrance to the Chancel!"

"All I can say is, you both have a very bad taste in statues!" Alexander told the interloper as he carried the Jade Dragon out the LA museum doors and hopped into his car. "If this is what you call Noble, you'd better do your own shopping next time, Kavya! I'm not a thief!"
